Toscana is a neighborhood trattoria that celebrates the rustic, authentic, source-to-table flavors of Northern Italy. Since 1989, it has stood tall on a corner in Brentwood and set the backdrop for special meals shared by generations of families, friends, and neighbors, as well as valued guests from around the globe, and elites from the worlds of entertainment, sports, and fashion. When they opened Toscana, co-founders Kathie and Mike Gordon wanted their restaurant to feel like home, and to this day, it does just that.

Nerano is the vision of owners Andy Brandon-Gordon and Carlo Brandon-Gordon’s many trips to the Amalfi Coast where they became inspired by the temperate climate, the pure simplicity of the coastal cuisine and the inviting Italian culture.

Nella Kitchen & Bar is the newest member of the TRG. Housed in the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn in Los Olivos, the menu features seasonal Roman pinsas, artisan cocktails, plus a playful wine list celebrating both local and international handpicked selections. Lunches are meant to be savored, enjoyed with a bottle of wine on the wrap-around porch or in the rustic dining room. The new Santa Barbara County wine country venture comes from the same team behind S.Y. Kitchen. Led by Executive Chef Luca Crestanelli, they embrace seasonality and source only the highest quality ingredients for the California cuisine-inspired menu.

Situated in an old farmhouse, S.Y. Kitchen culls from local fisherman, ranchers, farmers and vintners, and infuses Italian style cooking with a rural sensibility. The Santa Ynez based restaurant was created in 2013, developed by Executive Chef Luca Crestanelli and Toscana co-founders, Kathie and Mike Gordon. It is known for its wine country take on Italian classics. Pastas are handmade and pizzas are wood-fired. S.Y. Kitchen’s famed cocktails are joined by a dynamic wine list comprised of local Santa Barbara County selections, as well as an international roster of world-class wines.

Upstairs from Nerano sits BG, an Italian-American restaurant created by Andy and Carlo Brandon-Gordon and Executive Chef Michele Lisi. The restaurant evokes the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century in Hollywood and New York where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and unpretentious, patronized by movie-stars, moguls and godfathers. The food is a nod to that same history. Alongside these culinary delights is an exceptional cocktail program created by chief mixologist, Dorian De Tappan, and a rotating selection of carefully chosen, quality Italian and California wines curated by Nerano Sommelier, Davide Matarazzo.
